Trek West, an 8,627 SF travel center on 10 acres was under construction when Love’s Truck Stop acquired the land next door and began construction.  The arrival of Loves resulted in the Trek West project being abandoned and foreclosed on by the primary lender.  The property sat vacant for nearly two years until its recent acquisition.  Krupalu Inc, and its President, Kishor Koladia acquired the property on December 30, 2016.  They plan to complete construction on the project and open the travel center for business.

“This is a great location on I-70 right in the center of the state of Utah and we are really excited about our acquisition” said Kishor.  “We worked really hard to get this transaction completed. There were a number of complications due to the property being only partially completed.  We are anxious to bring this project online and start servicing the increasing customers on I-70”.

Neil Walter with NAI Excel facilitated the transaction.  He commented, “This was a property in a difficult situation, but we were able to work through the challenges.  The Buyer and Seller were great to work with and this deal ended up working out well for both parties.”
