According to Plastics News, Ridge, Ill.-based PPI America Inc., a subsidiary of South Korea’s PPI Pipe Co. Ltd., will invest $52.2 million in a new manufacturing plant in Cedar City, Utah, and add 50 new jobs over the next five years.

Founded in 1976, the parent company produces PVC pipe and fittings for water and plumbing systems.

PPI America was established in 2013 and began importing the company’s iPVC-brand water pipe into the United States, where it has been installed in various regions across the country. Now, the company will manufacture the iPVC products in Utah.

PPI America is expanding its efforts to supply clean, safe water to more U.S. communities through its iPVC products, according to a news release about the investment.

“During our evaluation of expanding our presence in the U.S., when looking at Utah and Cedar City specifically, we were extremely impressed with the rapid development of Iron County and its logistical advantages,” PPI America President Agnes HyeJung Lee said in the release.

Company officials declined further comment by email about the new operation.

Earlier this year, PPI’s iPVC pipe and fittings became the first in the U.S. to receive NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certification as being free of PFAS compounds, which the company says ensures it provides safe drinking water. The company passed NSF’s in-house testing for seven different PFAS compounds, including six that are EPA-regulated.

In Utah, the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO) awarded PPI America a tax reduction as part of the state’s Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (REDTIF) program.

“Clean, reliable water is vital to Utah’s future,” GOEO Executive Director Jefferson Moss said. “PPI America Inc. delivers safe drinking water while driving innovation, strengthening communities, and helping Utah attract new businesses.”

San Antonio, Texas — September 25, 2025 — NAI Excel hosted a monumental event with a ribbon cutting and celebration of its new Texas Head Quarters. Held at 1390 E Bitters Road, the event brought together professionals from across the region to connect, collaborate, and explore the shared opportunities shaping San Antonio real estate. From the food to the mariachi band and putting greens, the event was an overwhelming success that started at 4:00 PM and lasted well into the evening.

Individuals touring the facility were able to experience the campus, which displays contemporary elegance, glass and limestone architecture, and open space on more than three acres. In addition to offices for NAI Excel and ERA Brokers Consolidated, the location includes a large event room with an open kitchen and extended courtyard for industry gatherings, company meetings, and community events.

Tom DeWine, managing broker for NAI Excel extended a welcome introduction, Bryan Ottmers and Tom Rohde, forgers of the commercial real estate industry in San Antonio for more than forty-five years expressed appreciation for the community support, and the visionary Walter brothers acknowledged the individuals who made the new headquarters possible.

Las Vegas, NV – August 11, 2025 – NAI Excel is excited to announce the full lease up of a new 13,780 square-foot industrial building in southwest Las Vegas.  Precision Window Tinting and Master Collision Center both signed long-term leases to fully occupy the new building located at 7830 Eldorado Lane.  Maria Herman of NAI Excel had the exclusive marketing assignment and represented the landlord on both leases.

The new development is located near Buffalo Drive and Warm Springs Road, in one of the fastest growing areas of Southern Nevada.  It marks the fifth location for Precision Window Tinting and the second location for Master Collision Center.  The landlord is working closely with both tenants to customize the project to fit each tenants’ preferred design.
