NAI Vegas recently sponsored the 12th Annual Run for the Roses charity event, hosted by CREW at the Las Vegas Country Club. All proceeds benefited Dress for Success of Southern Nevada. This organization is the local affiliate of the international non-profit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by enabling them to build a career and become self-sufficient. The organization assists local women in the Las Vegas valley looking to get back on their feet by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life.
Maria Herman, Senior VP/Retail for NAI Vegas and CREWLV’s Special Event Chairperson is excited to be part of this amazing team as they work hard putting together CREW’s special event. “Each year Run for the Roses gets bigger and better and serves as a great networking event with attendees from all aspects of commercial real estate, and of course, the horse races!” This year’s theme was a complete Kentucky Derby style celebration with a Las Vegas twist. The event included horse races, drawings, a silent auction, and even hats in recognition of the fine chapeaux the Derby is known for. Participants enjoyed sumptuous food, specialty drinks, and bright colors while contributing to a great local charity. Maria’s horse ended up in First Place!
