Jimmy Johns has selected a site for a new restaurant in Cedar City. The location on 200 North just east of I-15 came available in July and will be a great addition to the community and the Jimmy John’s franchise. G-Companies is the franchisee and buyer of the site. They also own the Jimmy Johns locations in St. George and have had an eye on expansion into the Cedar City market while waiting for just the right opportunity. Doug Glendenning, the principle owner of G-Companies also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Franchisor for Jimmy Johns. There are currently over 1,200 Jimmy Johns locations across the country.
Located at 1001 W, 200 N in Cedar City, the former KB Express convenience store and gas station is the perfect site in Cedar City. After removing the underground fuel tanks, the former gas station was ready for redevelopment. The old building will be torn down and a new building will go up in its place. Located within blocks of SUU and just off the freeway, getting your sub “so fast you’ll freak” will be a compelling option in contrast to the traditional fast food restaurants in the area.
