Joule Plaza partners officially broke ground on its Class A mixed-use development. Highmark Construction, the general manager, has completed demolition work on the previous existing homes and buildings on the site.

Planned to encompass over 200,000 square feet, the four-story structure is set to include three floors of 197 apartments above 19,100 square feet of street level commercial retail, restaurants and office space. Construction is anticipated to be completed by December 2019. The project is designed for a walkable lifestyle in the Historic Downtown sector of St. George, Utah.

Situated on Tabernacle Street between 200 and 300 West, the development also ties in with future St. George City planned developments of 61 acres which includes walking paths, bike trails and parks.

The design of Joule Plaza, by Architect firm CRSA – Ben Rogers, includes luxury apartments, a fitness facility ,pool and park area. Below the commercial main level sits an additional underground level of parking for residents, retail/office consumers, and employees.
