Jimmy Johns signed a lease for 1800 SF in Sandstone Village, which is anchored by TJ Max in St. George, UT. The location came available when the Osaka owner decided to move back to San Francisco to be closer to family. Jimmy Johns of Southern Utah is the franchisee and G-Companies is the owner of the Southern Utah Jimmy Johns franchise. Jimmy Johns of Southern Utah currently has two other locations in St. George with a third announced for Sunset Boulevard and a fourth under construction in Cedar City. Doug Glendenning, the principle owner of G-Companies also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Franchisor for Jimmy Johns. There are currently over 1,200 Jimmy Johns locations across the country.
Located on River Road, the new location is in one of the highest traffic areas an in the most desirable retail location in Washington County. It is across the street from the new Dicks Sporting Goods anchored Red Rock Commons and on the right hand side of the road coming off of busy exit 8. Located within blocks of Dixie State College, many businesses, and just off the freeway, getting your sub “so fast you’ll freak” will be a compelling option in contrast to the traditional fast food restaurants in the area.
