NAI Excel is excited to announce the Sale of the Iconic Hotel located at 730 N Main St in Panguitch, Utah, to local entrepreneurs. Brandon Price and Dan Bertelsen, Associates, negotiated the terms between the Seller and Buyers.
Jennifer Harper and Brent Stout purchased the Best Host Inn, which is formerly the Horizon Hotel. A name change to Dragonfly Motor Lodge will be one of the many changes that the Panguitch residents, as well as world travelers, will notice.
“While we have our sights on rejuvenating this property, we also carry a notable sense of pride in the community of Panguitch and in our own Panguitch family roots.” Stated Stout.
Returning to Panguitch is a dream come true for this couple.
“It was a pleasure working with Jennifer and co-owner Brent Stout as they solidified their plans and worked to make it happen.” Brandon Price stated, “I have no doubt they will work just as hard on creating a great place for travelers to feel the hospitality and charm this town has to offer.”

Brandon began his professional career in Criminal Justice and worked to help communities be safer and more prosperous. After 20 years in law enforcement, Brandon retired and built a thriving Insurance agency serving Southern Utah and specializing in Commercial Business policies.
Brandon’s drive to build relationships in Southern Utah and beyond in his professional and personal spheres brought about the attention of the Olympics who asked him to be the Western US Events Services Manager to network with cycling athletes and race directors.
After selling his insurance agency, Brandon decided to jump into a career in commercial real estate where he can continue to bring people together to meet their commercial real estate needs.
Dan Bertelson
Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, Dan attended the University of Utah. He relocated to Denver Colorado to advance his career in law enforcement. Having an eye for details he enjoyed local, state, and federal investigations. After 18 years Dan retired honorably and relocated his family to St. George.
While serving as a law enforcement professional Dan managed to build several small businesses spanning retail sales to healthcare. Dan has experience in start-up, brand building, government regulations, client relations, technology, business management, and negotiation.
