Prior to joining NAI Excel, Bertelson dedicated 18 years to law enforcement.

Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, Dan attended the University of Utah. He relocated to Denver Colorado to advance his career in law enforcement. Having an eye for details he enjoyed local, state, and federal investigations. After 18 years Dan retired honorably and relocated his family to St. George.
While serving as a law enforcement professional Dan managed to build several small businesses spanning retail sales to healthcare. Dan has experience in start-up, brand building, government regulations, client relations, technology, business management, and negotiation. Dan is excited and honored to work with the best of the best in commercial real estate here at NAI Excel. He is ready to help you reach your investment goals and business needs.
While not working Dan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons in Utah’s paradise.
