West Wendover Nevada is primarily known for its gaming and entertainment, but this summer all of the land directly west of town traded hands.  The 390 acre sale comprised land approaching I-80 on the north and wrapping around the west side of the Toana Vista Golf course sold to a group of investors intending to hold the property for an undetermined purpose.  According to the Assessor’s office, the land had originally traded hands in August of 2006 for $9.3 million but the developers plans for a hotel, casino, RV park and additional improvements failed to materialize and the property ended up in the hands of one of the lenders until the August closing.

Neil Walter with NAI Vegas and NAI Excel represented both the Seller and Buyer in the transaction.  Brandon Vandermyde with NAI Excel consulted with the Buyer and acted as a principal in the transaction.
