Evan Hawksley is a Retail & Net Lease Investment Advisor at NAI Excel. His practice focuses on investment sales and 1031 exchange transactions, where he provides strategic advisory services to owner-operators, private investors, and family offices.

Evan brings a strong background in investment banking and venture capital, having been directly involved in more than $100 million in closed real estate transactions. He applies a disciplined, analytical approach rooted in market dynamics, location strategy, site-level due diligence, and legal and regulatory analysis, enabling clients to make confident, data-driven decisions.

As an investor himself, Evan approaches each transaction with an owner’s perspective, emphasizing thoughtful structuring, risk management, and efficient execution.

Evan studied finance at Utah State University, where he was an active member of the Finance Club and Investment Banking Club. He was a first-place finisher in the statewide Venture Capital Case Competition hosted by University Growth Fund and was recognized by Huntsman Business Magazine in 2021 for Best Investment.
