Background & Experience


John joined NAI in 2019 bringing 17 years of experience from local and regional brokerage firms. John started his career in commercial real estate in 2001 where he worked in property management and leasing. During this time, he also acted as principle in several ground-up commercial developments, managing each project from concept to sale. In 2008, he obtained a brokers license and founded a local commercial real estate firm where he continued to work with Tenants and Landlords in commercial leasing and sale transactions.

In 2015, John moved to Utah and where he leased and managed a 250,000 sq. ft. portfolio of commercial properties, including ground-up development of several commercial buildings on behalf of clients.

Johns expertise includes acquisition, disposition, leasing, property management, and development and rehab of commercial and residential properties.  Significant expertise in entitlement work, financial analysis, project/team leadership, construction supervision, negotiations, and investor relations.  Responsible for hundreds of lease negotiations,  acquisition/ disposition of one-off and portfolios of single family and commercial properties,  property management of over 250,000 square feet of commercial properties, and ground-up development of over 500,000 square feet of commercial property.

He has a BA from Brigham Young University, and spends his time away from work either boating with his growing family, in the mountains on a motorcycle, or traveling to a warm beach somewhere.
