Cal Ivey

Cal offers over 35 years of in-depth experience in the commercial real estate industry. He specializes in retail leasing, landlord representation, restaurant/retail pad site acquisition, and development and site selection covering multi-geographical assignments. Cal has leased, marketed, and managed a 389 acre mixed-use project that included an outlet mall component, medical office, residential, and pad site development. Cal, through his relationships with local, regional, and national retailers, has an understanding of the needs and acquisition requirements of retail/restaurant tenants, land acquisitions customers, and local, regional and national Landlords.

Cal’s clients have included Domino’s, Radio Shack, Houlihan’s, Krystal, Jersey Mike’s, Ace Cash Express, Payless Shoe Source, Dollar General, Simply Fashions, GNC, Pro-Cuts, Sally Beauty, Schlotzsky’s, Wing Stop, Wienerschnitzel, AGU Ramen Bistro and the Melting Pot. He, alongside Scott Cummings from our firm, leased one of the largest restaurants spaces in San Antonio, totaling 27,096 square feet. Since joining the company, Cal has also won the CoStar “Power Broker” Award in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

Cal is also responsible for the Leasing and Pre-Leasing of 20 shopping Centers within the San Antonio trade area. The centers are a combination as part of a leasing team assignments. He has several assignments also where he is the only point of contact with the ownership. In 2016, Cal leased 48,346 square feet totaling $4,833,636 in gross rental.

He is a member of the South Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, ICSC, National Restaurant Association, and Texas Restaurant Association.
