With over a decade of retail and healthcare experience, Darian Padua brings the expertise, insights, and proficiency to navigate dynamic healthcare leasing and investment transactions with a focus on advising physicians in the strategic disposition or acquisition of clinical properties.

He has engaged in healthcare real estate transactions exceeding $1 billion on a national scale. His clientele includes orthopedic, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and primary care physicians in sale-leasebacks. Additionally, he possesses expertise in optimizing practice leases before a sale to private equity to maximize sale proceeds for the facility(s). Maintaining robust relationships with acquisition directors from prominent national healthcare REITs and private equity firms is also a key aspect of his work.

Darian is also the co-founder and CEO of Maverick MRI, a diagnostic and preventive MRI & CT imaging center based in San Antonio. This role provides him with a distinctive insight into the rapidly evolving healthcare sector. Leveraging this perspective, he offers comprehensive consultancy services to healthcare clients, considering not only their real estate needs but also the implications of factors such as healthcare AI, declining reimbursement rates, and workforce shortages.

Darian Padua graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Real Estate Finance and Development Program in 2011. He currently serves as the President of San Antonio Young Professionals, a non-profit dedicated to nurturing a knowledgeable, inclusive professional network for individuals aged 25-45. The organization aims to cultivate a robust local talent pool, fostering collaborative growth within the community.
