Background & Experience

Tina Taylor is Senior Vice President of Investments at NAI Excel. Tina has over 30 years’ experience in commercial real estate.

Prior to joining NAI Excel, Tina was the First Vice President of Investments at Marcus & Millichap. She spent 17 years specializing in the acquisition, disposition and restructuring of office and single-tenant net-leased retail investments. She has successfully navigated and closed very complex transactions, holding the highest open-to-close ratio. Year after year, Tina was a top-ranking agent, earning several achievements. Tina is most proud of her interpersonal relationships and the positive working environment as a result.

Tina began her career as a commercial escrow officer, leading her team in one of the top producing commercial divisions in Nevada. During those 13 years, Tina truly gained the building blocks of her future, in hard work, accountability, and communication, which are key in cementing the various bonds with those around her. She attributes this time, as the absolute foundation of her long-term relationships, and overall success.

As a native of Las Vegas and an adopted only child, she was raised by a loving and supportive family. As a result, Tina is a fiercely independent and a confident woman. While attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Tina worked 2 jobs. At age 20, with very little money or knowledge, she found a way to make her first investment in commercial real estate, beginning her love for deal making.  Tina has been married for 25 years to Kelly and they have 2 daughters, one in college and one in high school.

While creating her own path, Tina was the driving force in the startup and acquisition of three homegrown companies, all of which became successful in their own right.  She was reminded her entire life to give back, leading her to volunteer from an early age. Early on Tina was deeply involved with AFAN (Aid for Aids of Nevada) and later with Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. Whether it is caring and providing for her family, volunteering, fundraising, helping at school or church, supporting local artists, theatre, cooking, or simply being a friend, few can dispute Tina’s heart.
