With the increase of full-time residents, vacation homeowners, students at Dixie State University and the regular monthly visitors for all the tournaments and events, new restaurants continue to open in Washington County.
Even Stevens Sandwiches opened on St. George Boulevard in the fall of 2015 when Café Rio moved to Red Rock Commons on River Road. Even Stevens is a new concept that offers a fabulous menu coupled with social responsibility. For every sandwich purchased, they donate a sandwich to a local nonprofit. They are a Utah based concept that is in growth mode with additional locations in SLC, Draper, Sugarhouse, Ogden, Logan, and of course, St. George.
The freestanding building occupied by Even Stevens was sold in March as a net leased investment to a local buyer completing a 1031 exchange. Even Stevens will remain in the location with a long term lease. Neil Walter with NAI Excel represented the Buyer and JR Moor with CBRE represented the Seller in the transaction. The purchase was financed by Andrew Hulse at Zions Bank.
