R. Mark Walter, Principle Broker at NAI Excel, is pleased to announce the sale of the 30,000 square foot industrial building formerly known as the Beaver Bottling Plant. The distribution facility is located on the East side of I-15 and encompasses 3 acres.
The seller, Gibbs International, along with the Beaver Water Co., Inc exclusively retained R. Mark Walter and NAI Excel to market the former bottling company with hopes to bring in new growth to Beaver, Utah.
The buyer, Tropic Ice Company, saw the opportunity of this investment and Walter immediately began negotiations. The outcome: favorable terms to both parties. “This transaction will be an economic boost to Beaver City,” stated Joseph Baird, managing partner of Tropic Ice, “it will serve as a distribution and production facility.”
Tropic Ice will use the building for their new automated production facility that will produce 270 tons of ice per day. The facility will support all of Tropic Ice’s Utah operations as well as part of Arizona and Nevada. In addition to ice production, the facility will also accommodate cold storage.
Equipment is now being installed in the facility and Tropic Ice is anticipating an opening April 1st, 2019.
“This was a fantastic opportunity to work with both parties,” stated Walter, “It was a tough negotiation.”
